AAFCPAs Manager, Emily McGinnis accepted to Women’s Leadership Program
AAFCPAs is excited to announce that Emily McGinnis, CPA has been accepted to the highly regarded Boston Chamber of Commerce 2015-2016 Women’s Leadership Program. Held in collaboration with the Simmons School of Management, this year-long Women’s Leadership Program provides a select group of female professionals with opportunities to enhance their leadership skills, engage in the region’s business and civic communities, and develop professional networks that will serve them throughout their careers. Emily will join 119 other outstanding and qualified professional women chosen from a competitive selection process.
Emily has been serving AAF clients since 2004, working her way up to manager and demonstrating strong leadership skills along the way. She is a member of the firm’s assurance practice focusing on audits for sophisticated nonprofit organizations. She is a leader in AAFCPAs’ Educational Services practice, providing services to charter schools, higher education institutions, independent schools, and other education services organizations.
AAFCPAs’ Jeanie Gorlovsky-Schepp, CPA, manager (WLP class of 2012-2013), Katie Belanger, CPA, manager (WLP class of 2013-2014), and Olga Yasinnik, CPA, manager (WLP class of 2013-2014) graduated from this respected program. “The Boston Chamber Women’s Leadership Program was a great experience for me,” remarks Yasinnik. “It helped me to gain confidence in my leadership, networking, and communication skills, which complement my technical abilities as a CPA in public accounting. I believe Emily will thoroughly enjoy the leadership development program as well. And, I know this leadership development program will contribute to her realization of both personal and professional growth goals.”
