AAFCPAs Presents How to Maintain Your Nonprofit Status

The nonprofit clients we serve have a tremendously positive impact on the employees and culture of AAFCPAs. Regardless of the mission, we are inspired daily by our awareness of all the great work that occurs by nonprofits in service to our community.  We are happy to share our expertise pro bono through lecturing or speaking at industry groups and nonprofit events that ultimately enrich our community.
AAFCPAs Partner, Robin Kelley, CPA, CITP, CGMA, CSPM, as well as Susan Abbott, Esq., of Goodwin Procter, will volunteer their efforts and lead Lawyers Clearinghouse’s Nonprofit Incorporation Workshop: How to Maintain Not-for-Profit Status.
This two-hour workshop, designed as Part II to Lawyers Clearinghouse’s very popular Nonprofit Incorporation Workshop, focuses on compliance requirements once initial filings are completed.  Robin and Susan will provide an overview of compliance requirements with various government agencies and practical tips for nascent nonprofits to help ensure they will maintain not-for-profit and tax-exempt status.  There are many nuances to maintaining your not-for-profit and tax-exempt status and AAFCPAs strongly encourages you and your colleagues to attend, stay informed, and help spread the word to those who may benefit from this presentation. AAFCPAs is happy to serve the nonprofit community in this way.
