AAFCPAs is excited to announce that the firm has been recognized in Top Places to Work 2015, The Boston Globe’s annual list of the top 125 workplaces in Massachusetts for the sixth consecutive year. AAFCPAs ranked number 21 for top workplaces in the midsize company category (100 to 249 employees), and is the only CPA firm honored in 2015 in the annual employee-based survey project.
“The success of a company is not only measured by its revenue and profits, but also by the loyalty and satisfaction of its employees,” said Katie Johnston, Boston Globe workplace reporter and Top Places to Work editor. “The winning companies have developed innovative ways to engage and motivate their workers, which often serves as a key factor in innovation and leads to better professional performance.” So how exactly did AAFCPAs become named a Top Place to Work?
The Globe conducted a confidential survey of AAFCPAs team members. Employees rated AAFCPAs positively on factors related to employee happiness, including benefits, giving their employees a voice, and encouraging them to have some fun.
“The generous spirit of AAFCPAs makes it a very appealing place to have a thriving career in public accounting while making a difference with your work life.” said Julius Wakaba, CPA, manager at AAFCPAs.
AAF’s team members have helped to recognize the firm as a Top Place to Work for six years in The Boston Globe, six years in the Boston Business Journal, and in Accounting Today!
“Happy CPAs make happy clients,” said Dave McManus, co-managing partner at AAFCPAs. “Our clients appreciate the drive and energy of our people and this makes us very proud of them. It works well for everyone.”
The mission of AAFCPAs is to improve the economic well-being and quality of life for all AAF constituents. This includes our clients, employees, vendors, and communities. We celebrate the many nonprofits that enrich our lives by committing to donate 10% of our net income annually back to nonprofits.
