In 2018, AAFCPAs again funded a Platinum Scholarship of $2,500, awarded through the Massachusetts Society of CPAs’ (MSCPA) Educational Foundation and MSCPA Scholarship Program. This year’s scholarship was granted to Lesley Ta, an ambitious and passionate graduate of Suffolk University’s Sawyer School of Business. The announcement was made recently during an event honoring educators, CPA exam passers, and scholarship winners hosted by the MSCPA. AAFCPAs’ Director of Business Valuations David Consigli, Jr., CPA, ABC, CPVA, CDFA presented Ms. Ta with the Scholarship.
“AAFCPAs understands the value of education and continuous learning, which is why we have joyfully participated in the MSCPA Scholarship Program since 2007, rewarding $2,500 annually to deserving students who put extra effort into their pursuit of an accounting career,” said Carla McCall, AAFCPAs Co-Managing Partner and former Chair of the MSCPA. “We are happy to make a difference in the lives of these dedicated young people.”
AAFCPAs generously supports our Massachusetts Society of CPAs and the educational achievements and advancement of the next generation of CPA excellence by funding and awarding this annual AAFCPAs Scholarship.
