AAFCPAs’ Marketing Leaders Volunteer Their Skills to Strengthen a Boston Nonprofit

AAFCPAs Partner and CMO Matthew Boyle, MBA and Marketing Manager Patrick Huegel participated in Common Impact’s second annual Skills for Cities Boston on September 30, 2019. Skills for Cities is an inspiring day of corporate-nonprofit collaboration to solve community challenges for nonprofits in Boston.
Matthew and Pat invested their unique marketing talents in a strategic, operational consulting role to strengthen SpeakEasy Stage Company’s ability to create more impact and change in its community. Matthew served as team lead for a branding audit for the non-profit theatre company and provided recommendations to further distinguish them in the Boston theatre landscape. Pat tackled a website assessment for SpeakEasy and developed recommendations focused on user experience for the theatre audience.
“I was drawn to Common Impact’s mission to accelerate solutions to our most pressing social challenges,” said Matthew. “They serve a critical role in matching volunteers’ unique skills and talent to the most appropriate nonprofit with the goal of maximizing impact.”
