AAFCPAs Assurance Manager Hui-Ting Grady, CPA, MBA is now among an elite group of CPAs in the country who have earned the Advanced Single Audit Certificate from the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA)’s Governmental Audit Quality Center. This advance level certificate is designed for auditors with seven or more years of experience in performing and reviewing single audits. The Advanced Single Audit Certificate recognizes Hui-Ting’s demonstrated expertise planning, directing, and reporting on single audits in accordance with the latest requirements of the Uniform Guidance (UG)—the government-wide framework for grants management.

AAFCPAs’ clients benefit from Hui-Ting’s insight into key issues that may arise in managing government funds, including advanced topics that require particular attention. This includes insight into how UG impacts a nonprofit’s financial management systems, internal control structure, cash management, procurement and property policies, audit resolutions, time and effort documentation, and financial and performance reporting.

Hui-Ting is a leader in AAFCPAs’ Nonprofit Assurance Practice. She has over 20 years of experience and has spent her entire career auditing and consulting with both nonprofit and healthcare organizations. She serves as a resource to AAFCPAs’ nonprofit clients, providing information about current FASB deliberations, as well as timely updates on Accounting Standards as they are released. Her work has included making recommendations to the FASB board on technical issues, including proposed accounting standards impacting the nonprofit community.
