Carla McCall to Speak at MassCPAs Women’s Leadership Summit

AAFCPAs’ Managing Partner Carla McCall, CPA, CGMA will serve as a keynote speaker at the Massachusetts Society of CPAs (MassCPAs) 2022 Women’s Leadership Summit on October 25th at the Westin Hotel in Waltham, MA.
Carla is a former Board Chair of MassCPAs and currently serves on the Board and as Chair of the Audit & Finance Committees of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA). She received a Women to Watch Leadership Award at this event in 2013 by MassCPAs and was named one of the Most Powerful Women in the Accounting Profession in 2021 and 2022 by the AICPA and CPA Practice Advisor Magazine.
In this candid discussion, Carla will share her career path from staff accountant to managing partner. She will reflect on the best piece of advice she received that helped her get to where she is today: be authentic, and lead in a way that is innate to you. She will also discuss some of the most significant marks she’s made on the firm, the one question she dislikes the most, keys to creating an inclusive culture, and what’s in store for the profession.
