Boston, MA (January 2, 2024) — AAFCPAs, a preeminent 300+ employee CPA and consulting firm specializing in tax, assurance, accounting, wealth management, business process and IT advisory solutions, is pleased to announce the promotion to partner of Lauren M. Duplin, CPA, Nichole Reilly, CPA, MBA, and Justin Leroux, CPA effective January 1, 2024.
Lauren M. Duplin, CPA, Partner
Lauren is a senior member of AAFCPAs’ Fractional CFO & Outsourced Accounting practice, where she specializes in advising clients in education, community & economic development, and human & social services. She serves as an active partner supporting nonprofit CEOs, has been a Professional Advancement & Development (PAD) program career coach since 2011, helps with onboarding and training new team members in the practice, and was recipient of AAFCPAs’ peer-nominated Client Service Excellence Award in 2013, 2016, and 2019. Lauren also participated in AAFCPAs’ inaugural Innovation Lab Changemaker Challenge, demonstrating her commitment to remaining curious, engaged, creative, and always improving! Prior to joining outsourced accounting, Lauren gained 12+ years of experience in audit. She joined the firm in 2009.
Nichole is a leader in AAFCPAs’ Education practice, where she specializes in advising charter schools, private schools, and other education-related nonprofits. She is a key member of AAFCPAs’ COVID Task Force, which was assembled to help clients persevere through the obstacles of the pandemic. TypeCoach certified, Nichole helps our teams grow their understanding of one another’s work styles while learning how to leverage each other’s strengths, build trust, and improve collaboration. She is a 2020 recipient of the Joel Aronson Character Award. Nichole joined AAFCPAs in 2010.
Justin is a leader in AAFCPAs’ Community & Economic Development and Health & Human Services practices, providing exceptional expertise in the nonprofit, community development, affordable housing, and behavioral health sectors. He is a member of the firm’s Community and Economic Development Executive Committee, Internal Inspection Team, and Behavioral Health Committee. Beyond this, he is a mentor, a career coach, and a former leader of the PAD Program. He also oversees trainings within the community development and affordable housing sectors. He is a recipient of AAFCPAs’ peer nominated Excellence in Client Service award in 2017 and Growth Mindset Award in 2022. Justin joined AAFCPAs in 2011.
