AAFCPAs Celebrates 2024 National Health Center Week
Each August, National Health Center Week aims to promote awareness of America’s 1,400 Community Health Centers (CHCs), which act as a beacon of strength, service, and care within our communities. Across the country, CHCs support 500,000 direct and indirect jobs, create nearly $85 billion in economic output, and save our nation’s health system billions of dollars annually, thus reducing overall health care costs. Our nation’s health centers provide a broad range of services beyond primary care including dental, mental health, substance use and behavioral health care and services, all of which improve health and well-being within medically underserved communities.
AAFCPAs invites clients to join us in celebrating National Health Center Week, August 4-10, 2024. This year’s theme is Powering Communities Through Caring Connections. Those interested are encouraged to donate resources, volunteer, take part in planned events, and support ongoing legislation in favor of health center funding and investments in our primary care workforce.
Each day, National Health Center Week shines a light on one critical area.
We are continually inspired by the CHCs we serve and their unwavering commitment to providing quality care, improving health outcomes, and narrowing health disparities. At AAFCPAs, our Healthcare Practice has proudly supported Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) for more than 50 years, helping them navigate complex financial, operational, and regulatory challenges. We are dedicated to supporting their missions and contributing to their success.
