Jay Stout Awarded AAFCPAs’ 2024 Joseph Birolini Scholarship
AAFCPAs is honored to announce that Jay Stout has been awarded the 2024 Joseph Birolini Scholarship. This award, valued at $1,000, will be sent directly to Nichols College to support Jay’s pursuit of a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA).
One team member each year is selected to receive the Joseph Birolini Scholarship by navigators in AAFCPAs’ Professional Advancement & Development (PAD) program, a one-year in-house incubator providing tools to help early career professionals elevate their skills in management, communication, organization, teamwork, and independence. The scholarship was launched in honor of Joseph Birolini, an inspirational staff accountant who passed away unexpectedly in 2021. Joe was a graduate of Pembroke High School and graduated Summa Cum Laude from UMass-Boston in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. He was a respected colleague whose energy and kindness greatly enriched our workplace and our lives.
In honor of Joe’s legacy, this scholarship recognizes and supports dedicated individuals like Jay who embody the same spirit, passion, teamwork, generosity, and positivity. We are proud to celebrate Jay’s achievements and are grateful to have him on our team. His commitment to excellence ensures Joe’s spirit and values live on. Please join us in congratulating Jay Stout for his achievement.
