Community Health Centers Are a Beacon of Strength
This year for National Health Center Week (August 8 – 14), AAFCPAs shines a light on those front-line providers and support staff who, throughout this pandemic, continue to find innovative ways to address community need and overcome financial vulnerability. They have been instrumental in connecting high-risk and vulnerable individuals to care and needed services and addressing local public health challenges.
CHCs have been critical in the U.S. response to Covid.
AAFCPAs witnesses the critical role community health centers play in our Country’s moments of loss and triumph. From the very beginning of the pandemic, CHCs found innovative ways to continue to provide preventative and primary care (regardless of ability to pay) to their patients.
They are real people overcoming extraordinary challenges and saving lives.
Like the communities they serve, health center staff were fearful and struggling. They faced an increased risk for exposure and infection, fighting an invisible enemy with courage and compassion. Through all this, they remain a beacon of strength, offering care and hope.
Here at AAFCPAs, we are so proud and extremely grateful for our client providers and all their compassionate employees.
With gratitude,
AAFCPAs
