Kevin specializes in providing federal, state, and local tax planning & compliance solutions for C Corporations, S Corporations, partnerships & their owners. He provides tax guidance on formation & reorganizations, deductions, income, and reporting & filing requirements.
Kevin has strong experience planning, executing, and delivering innovative federal and state tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients. He conducts tax research related to federal and state income taxes, including pass-through entity taxation, consolidated/unitary filing requirements, and ASC 740 and FIN 48. Kevin has expertise in providing nexus analyses to determine if clients have multistate tax exposure and offers guidance on tax apportionment. He ensures complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing expectations, meeting deadlines, and proactively sharing tax saving strategies.
The tax landscape is dynamic and constantly evolving. Kevin is committed to remaining up to date on legislative changes, developing tax issues, and newly evolving tax planning strategies. He is an in-house trainer on tax topics affecting AAFCPAs’ business clients. He is a performance manager to two protégés helping them reach their full potential at AAFCPAs.
Prior to joining AAFCPAs, Kevin gained experience in both corporate accounting and regional & national public accounting firms. When not providing tax solutions, Kevin enjoys ultimate frisbee.
