AAFCPAs’ 2023 Impact Report
AAFCPAs measures and shares our social contributions and outcomes annually in our Impact Report. This helps us remain accountable, fosters a meaningful organizational culture focused on social impact, and celebrates our achievements. It also serves as a testament to our shared values.
This year’s report breaks down our charitable giving including service and volunteerism along with our direct, annual holiday, employee matching, and GivingTuesday donations. Also highlighted are ongoing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives along with efforts to ensure the professional, financial, social, mental, and emotional well-being of our team members. Finally, we share details about our information security safeguards and code of professional conduct.
Highlights
- $250,000 donated to nonprofits through our direct-giving program in 2023
- $26,000+ donated by team members and our company match for GivingTuesday in 2023
- Nearly $200,000 donated in support of GivingTuesday throughout the eight years we have participated
- 70 percent of our firm subscribes to our DEIB Microsoft Teams channel (up 15 percent over last year)
- 60+ children gifted toys in our December toy drive for Nurtury Early Education
- 24 bicycles for children aged 6 through 10 donated to MSPCC
- 15 percent of our team members are non-white
- 49 percent of our leadership are women and/or minorities
- 29 percent of our partners and 44 percent of our managers are women
- 13 languages are spoken within our organization including Afrikaans, Albanian, Arabic, English, French, German, Hindi, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Swahili, and Ukranian
