Accounting Manager
Paul is a member of AAFCPAs’ Outsourced Accounting & Fractional CFO (OAFC) practice, where he provides cloud-based accounting infrastructure set-up, budget development, and oversight of transactional accounting services for nonprofit organizations.
In this role, Paul provides high-level expertise, alleviating the burden of routine transactional activities. He works with new clients to right-size people, processes, and systems, helping to modernize their finance function in a manner that can adapt to changing needs. He supervises junior staff in day-to-day transactional accounting including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and monthly general ledger reconciliations to ensure accurate and efficient processing. He provides insightful monthly or quarterly financial packages featuring actionable data to empower decision-making. Paul’s budgeting and cash flow projections, budget-to-actual comparisons, and established financial controls help clients effectively manage performance and risks while improving stability.
Paul brings over five years of experience as a financial statement auditor, specializing in nonprofits and ensuring compliance with US GAAP, Uniform Guidance, and UFR requirements. His unique perspective enables him to effectively advise AAFCPAs’ OAFC clients on designing audit-ready financial processes.
