Stephanie Ash
Manager
Stephanie is responsible for planning and executing financial statement audits and reviews for sophisticated nonprofit organizations. She serves a variety of industries including community and economic development corporations (CDCs) and their affordable housing projects along with arts and cultural organizations.
Stephanie has extensive experience leading audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), nonprofit audits conforming to Uniform Guidance/Single Audit and Government Auditing Standards, as well as those with state-specific filing requirements, such as the Massachusetts Uniform Financial Statement (UFR). She also has experience leading program-specific audits for participants in select HUD Housing programs.
Stephanie is a member of AAFCPAs’ Leadership Academy Steering Committee, where she contributes to the firm’s efforts in identifying, creating, and implementing specific leadership methodologies, systems, and processes to most effectively lead others. Stephanie is an in-house trainer on diverse topics, including assurance best practices and financial statement preparation for community and economic development corporations. She is a 2024 recipient of the firm’s peer-nominated Growth Mindset award.
