Caitlin Limoges, CPA, MBA
Director, Project Management
Caitlin is the leader of AAFCPAs’ internal Project Management department, leading a team of talented project specialists in supporting the nonprofit audit division. This team allows the firm’s audit engagement teams to leverage key tasks, which creates efficiency and mitigates risks.
As a financial statement auditor for AAFCPAs (2010-2019), Caitlin has a deep understanding of the audit process and client expectations. She recognized challenges engagement teams were facing in efficiency and bandwidth. She created this new department in 2019 in recognition of the value it would bring to audit engagements and firm operations. Caitlin started by streamlining the firm’s processes for preparing and filing clients’ IRS Forms 990 and other state tax compliance filings. She has since leveraged her extensive experience in healthcare auditing to streamline processes and task execution related to Medicare cost reports and 340B Pharmacy Program audits/consulting. She continues to identify ways the Project Management team can increase its value to clients and fellow team members. Caitlin is an excellent example of the firm’s commitment to work smarter, not harder!
Caitlin actively contributes to talent-focused initiatives, serving as a Career Coach for several of the firm’s emerging leaders. She also leads internal trainings on diverse topics. She was a participant in AAFCPAs’ inaugural Innovation Lab Changemaker Challenge, driven to identify, develop, and execute novel approaches to drive progress.
