AAFCPAs Partner Matthew Troiano to Serve on Board of Directors of Tailored for Success, Inc.
AAFCPAs is excited to announce that Matthew Troiano, CPA has been appointed and
agrees to serve on the Board of Directors and finance committee for Tailored for Success, Inc. (TFS). Matt will donate his time, talent and expertise to further the strategic goals of the organization, and to help foster economically disadvantaged individuals in their pursuit of self-sufficiency. He will serve as a fiduciary of TFS, responsible for ensuring sound financial policies/procedures and budget oversight, and providing strategic direction and advice on the organization’s overall financial health.
“I am inspired by the mission, impact and leadership of TFS, and by the rallying support of our local partners,” said Troiano. “It is my privilege to contribute my expertise and energy towards strengthening TFS’s impact and efforts to provide individuals with the tools and motivation they need to succeed.”
Matt is a hands-on leader in AAFCPAs’ community and economic development practice, serving community development corporations (CDCs), affordable housing and mixed-use real estate projects, and their lending institutions. He advises these sophisticated nonprofits and their related for-profit limited partnerships, providing assurance solutions and assessing tax situations to help maximize profits while minimizing tax liability. About Tailored for Success, Inc.
Tailored for Success, Inc. (TFS) is a not for profit organization dedicated to assisting economically disadvantaged women, men and youth with resources to build their self-esteem and self-confidence. In addition to providing clothing and self-esteem building support, TFS and volunteers provide ongoing personal and development workshops to clients and partner agencies. TFS partners with nearly 60 organizations in the Greater Boston area focused on workforce development. These organizations refer clients to TFS when they are ready to enter the workforce, complete with resumes and scheduled interviews. Partners include nonprofit social service organizations, transitional housing facilities, programs serving the homeless families and survivors of domestic violence as well as government agencies.
