AAFCPAs’ Co-Managing Partner Carla McCall Recognized for Advancing Women in Accounting Field
Boston, Mass. (October 12, 2017) – AAFCPAs, a best-in-class CPA and consulting firm known for assurance, tax, accounting, wealth management, valuation, and business and IT advisory solutions, announced today its co-managing partner Carla McCall was selected for the “Forty Women to Watch over 40” list. The Forty over 40 honors women who despite gender and age bias are disrupting their career and harnessing their power to help other women do the same.
Carla was also recently honored by her alma mater, Bentley University, with the Harry C. Bentley Alumni Achievement Award. This prestigious honor goes to Bentley graduates, chosen by the Global Alumni Board, who embody the founder Harry Bentley’s commitment to excellence on behalf of their profession, community and alma mater. Carla’s service as a Mentor in the Center for Women and Business, and as a board member of the Bentley Executive Club stands out as a testament to her commitment to the growth and development of others.

Carla currently spearheads AAFCPAs’ Women’s Opportunity Network (WON), an initiative serving as a platform for women at the Firm to discuss challenges in the workplace and to educate, inform, and bring awareness to these issues. Since WON’s inception in 2011, AAFCPAs’ overall female leadership has risen to 48%, up from 25%.
