A Certified B Corporation™
Independent certification formalizes what has long guided AAFCPAs—a commitment to responsible business practices, accountable leadership, and relationships built on trust.
AAFCPAs: Accountable. Transparent. Community-Minded.
At AAFCPAs, we believe strong organizations, strong teams, and strong communities are interconnected, and that business plays a role in strengthening all three at the same time.
In 2026, we became a certified B Corporation™. B Corps™ are organizations committed to balancing business performance with accountability, transparency, and long-term stewardship. Certification demonstrates how a business operates across governance, workplace practices, client relationships, and community engagement.
For AAFCPAs, that designation reflects principles already embedded across the firm. Independent certification validates how we have always led, made decisions, supported team members, and served clients.
For organizations and individuals who value alignment in business relationships, this certification provides added transparency into how we operate. For those considering AAFCPAs as a workplace, it signals a culture grounded in respect, accountability, purpose, and shared responsibility.
Verified Impact in Governance, Workers, Community, and Environment
B Corp™ Certification reflects a rigorous standard for how a business leads, operates, and serves others. Rather than evaluating a single policy or initiative, the certification assesses the organization as a whole, including governance, workplace practices, client relationships, community engagement, and environmental responsibility.
Certified B Corporations™ commit to considering the broader effect of business decisions on people, communities, and long-term sustainability alongside financial performance. The global B Corp community shares a belief that business plays an important role in building stronger communities, expanding opportunity, supporting meaningful work, and contributing to a healthier and more inclusive economy.
Certification also establishes a framework for accountability. Performance is measured against verified standards and reviewed over time, providing greater transparency into how a firm operates and upholds commitments.
How B Corp™ Certification Works
Certified B Corporation™ status is earned through a comprehensive, evidence-based assessment of the business as a whole. This considers the size, industry, and location, making the assessment of overall impact as accurate as possible. It is one of the few certifications that evaluates the business itself, not a product or service, assessing how the organization is governed, how team members are supported, how clients are served, and how it contributes to its community and environment.
This assessment is independently reviewed and requires documentation of policies, practices, and outcomes using credible, comprehensive, transparent, and independent standards of social and environmental performance. Certification is then revisited every three years, reinforcing accountability and keeping standards aligned with how responsible businesses are expected to operate.
Where This Shows Up
This approach shapes how priorities are set, how accountability is maintained, and how success is evaluated over time. Clients experience it through consistency in engagements, clarity in communication, and continuity in the relationships they build with the people performing the work.
