AAFCPAs' Flexible Work Policy
Customize how, when, and where you work—whether at home, on site, or hybrid. No in-office mandates.
An Innovative Work Culture
Workplace flexibility provides team members with the autonomy to work when and where they are most productive. It also provides the work-life balance necessary to accommodate personal commitments and preferences. Eliminate the stress and cost involved in the daily commute and invest that time in activities that add more value to your life. AAFCPAs team members work coast to coast and internationally from home offices that are approved and in compliance with tax and labor law requirements. Note that our first-year campus hires are required to work in a commutable distance. This allows for better access to specialized in-person training. After the first year, they may put in a request to relocate. Our virtual environment promotes inclusivity by allowing individuals from diverse backgrounds the ability to fully participate without geographic or accessibility constraints. Of course, for those who do their best work in the office, AAFCPAs offers access to state-of-the-art office space in multiple locations including our Greater Boston headquarters.
AAFCPAs is focused on outcomes versus micromanaging. We invest in building creative and intentional leaders who hone in on team cohesion, clear communication, and the advancement of our results-oriented, self-driven, and enterprising work culture. Our remote collaboration tools don’t simply mimic traditional office processes but enhance and advance project management, efficiency, connectivity, and productivity. All of this is built around established guidelines and ongoing training for remote work etiquette and professional business conduct.
Exceptional Client Service
Clients and AAFCPAs’ employees alike appreciate options. Where preferred, we still conduct engagements on site, which is why you will find some team members are required to commute to clients when necessary. But more popular these days among our clients is a preference for in-person meetings paired with remote processes to further minimize disruptions and provide greater accessibility to our expertise regardless of location. We share documents and data securely in real time within state-of-the-art collaborative tools and reduce our shared carbon footprint by prioritizing a thoughtful, flexible, and environmentally sustainable service delivery approach.
While we embrace the benefits in remote collaboration, we believe that human connection fostered by in-person interaction remains irreplaceable. This is particularly crucial during sensitive or complex discussions where clarity and mutual understanding are paramount. That’s why client services will always combine remote processes with in-person client meetings, informal luncheons, and facetime. It’s no wonder we’ve built a loyal and fanatical client base of organizations that return time and again through the decades.
AAFCPAs Flexible Work Policy is part of our commitment to environmental stewardship and employee wellness along with our dedication to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
Why Us?
AAFCPAs strives to be the best, not the biggest, CPA and consulting firm. We accomplish this by hiring the best people at all levels of the organization—no matter where they live.
