Aaron Diamond, CPA

Aaron is responsible for planning and executing financial statement attestations for privately held and private-equity (PE) group managed companies, including manufacturers & distributors, retailers, cannabis operators, high-tech/software developers, and professional services firms. He also has extensive experience serving private schools and higher education institutions. He advises emerging start-ups as well as mature companies well-established in their industries.
Aaron organizes and manages efficient audits, reviews, and compilations, and drafts financial statements in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, Uniform Guidance/Single Audit standards, and standards for accounting and review services. He has extensive experience providing consultations to clients on complex accounting transactions, including those involving equity & debt financing, stock compensation awards, business combinations (acquisitions/mergers), hedging, pension, and divestitures. He helps ensure AAFCPAs’ clients understand how these complex operations should be treated to ensure financial reports offer users an accurate representation of the performance of the company. Aaron advises nonprofit clients with complex endowments by assisting in developing and evaluating investment and spending policies, reporting structures, and internal controls over investment activities.
Aaron delivers meaningful presentations to boards and investors to support strategic decision making. He also provides internal training on diverse assurance topics helping contribute to AAFCPAs’ culture of continuous learning. Prior to joining AAFCPAs, Aaron gained over 10 years of experience in corporate accounting, and regional & national public accounting firms.
