Ana Rodriguez, MBA
Accounting Manager
Ana is a member of AAFCPAs’ Outsourced Accounting & Fractional CFO (OAFC) practice, where she provides accounting infrastructure set-up along with cloud-based accounting services for nonprofit and commercial clients including international organizations with complex intercompany subsidiaries. Her goal is to relieve clients of the burden of day-to-day transactional activities by overseeing accounting services and managing deadlines and deliverables.
In this role, she collaborates with new clients to right-size people, processes, and systems while working to modernize their finance function. She helps clients migrate to cloud-based systems, ensures processes are efficient and effective, helps clients achieve adequate internal controls, assists management with regulatory compliance, and provides audit and tax compliance readiness.
Ana acts as a liaison between her clients and AAFCPAs team charged with managing day-to-day transactional accounting procedures including AR/AP, payroll, and monthly general ledger account reconciliations. She then presents clients with budgeting and cash flow projections, budget versus actual comparisons, associated checks and balances, and monthly or quarterly financial packages complete with critical financial data to help improve business decisions.
Ana holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Fitchburg State University. She is active in AAFCPAs’ Professional Advancement & Development Program and a passionate leader in the firm’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Committee. She was honored with AAFCPAs’ 2023 peer-nominated DEIB Award. As a leader and representative who champions the ideologies of DEIB at our firm, Ana is recognized by colleagues for her positive attitude, clear passion for DEIB, and proactive engagement in conversations that educate on and illuminate key issues. When she’s not supporting clients and her team, she likes to take walks, play with her nephews, and spoil her pets. Ana is fluent in both English and Spanish.
