Ashleigh is a member of AAFCPAs’ Outsourced Accounting & Fractional CFO practice, providing outsourced, cloud-based finance & accounting support for emerging, growth-stage, and mature technology companies.
As a key member of the finance function, Ashleigh manages support staff and oversees processing of AR/AP, check disbursements, and the reconciliation process to the general ledger. She assists in the creation of annual budgets and monitors cash flow and burn rates. She reviews and approves preparation and finalization of monthly and annual financial reporting materials and benchmarking metrics for Executive Management and investors, which assists in strategic decision making. She is skilled at preparing and presenting key financial metrics for investor & Board of Director presentations.
Ashleigh’s strong background in finance and accounting includes hands-on experience in the accounting department of a leading eCommerce analytics company and in the assurance/audit division of a national CPA firm. She has extensive experience examining financial statements, disclosures, and internal control procedures under GAAS, GAAP, IFRS, PCAOB, AICPA, SOX and COSO frameworks for public and privately-held companies. She advises AAFCPAs clients on best practices to improve investor confidence through accurate and reliable corporate disclosures. She is a member of AAFCPAs Lease Accounting Task Force, dedicated to helping clients confidently apply the standard with greater efficiency and ease.
Ashleigh’s diverse background includes advising management in achieving IPO readiness, including managing cross-functional teams to attain entity-wide transformation. Additionally, she provides guidance on due diligence and integrations for buy and sell-side mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, and she works with executive management to define financial processes and implement infrastructure and systems needed to support organizational goals and manage change.
Outside of the office, Ashleigh serves as the Boys & Girls Track and Field (Hurdles) coach at Lexington High School. She is a former Division I Track and Field athlete.
