Daniel is responsible for leading the planning and execution of financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for privately held commercial companies, including manufacturers and distributors, SaaS providers, cannabis operators, and clients across a variety of industries. He works closely with management teams to deliver assurance services that are responsive, well-coordinated, and aligned with each client’s operational and reporting objectives.
Taking full ownership of engagement timelines and deliverables, Daniel manages assurance planning and fieldwork with a strong focus on risk assessment, efficiency, and minimizing disruption to day‑to‑day finance operations. By developing a deep understanding of each client’s business model, processes, and internal control environment, he is able to identify areas of risk early and tailor audit procedures accordingly—providing clients with practical insights in addition to compliance-focused results.
Daniel regularly collaborates with tax, audit, and consulting professionals across the firm to ensure clients receive integrated, seamless service. This cross-functional approach allows him to anticipate issues, streamline communication, and support informed decision-making throughout the engagement lifecycle.
In addition to his client service responsibilities, Daniel is an active member of the firm’s Lease Accounting (ASC 842) Task Force, where he helps build firmwide technical expertise related to the implementation of this complex standard. He also serves as an in-house trainer on various commercial assurance topics, supporting both consistent quality and the firm’s ability to deliver clear, practical guidance to clients navigating evolving accounting requirements.
He earned a Master of Business Administration from Nichols College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Bryant University.
