Program Manager, Career Development & Engagement
Emma (She/Her) is a career coach and talent advisor committed to driving the professional growth and success of staff-level team members. She leads the design and implementation of strategic initiatives informed by firm-wide engagement surveys, including the development of tools like dashboards that enhance team alignment and operational effectiveness. Emma also oversees performance management strategies, ensuring they align with organizational objectives while fostering employee development and long-term achievement.
In addition to her coaching and advisory work, Emma manages AAFCPAs’ intranet and leads the Communications Committee, where she develops and refines internal communication protocols. She provides training on collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams and OneDrive, equipping team members with the tools they need to communicate effectively and work seamlessly across the organization. Emma also oversees the firm’s Professional Advancement & Development (PAD) program, delivering resources that empower early career professionals to advance their career management skills. As the co-founder of AAFCPAs’ E3 Intern Accelerator program, she has spearheaded efforts to expand opportunities for community college students, offering them meaningful exposure to and experience in the professional world.
As a contributing member of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging Committee as well as the Tech Committee, Emma ensures that professional development initiatives align with the firm’s cultural values and evolving technological needs. Her commitment to fostering a supportive and innovative workplace culture underscores her role in shaping the educational and operational framework of AAFCPAs.
Emma holds membership in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and is a SHRM Certified Professional. Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys volunteering, crafting ceramics, biking scenic trails, and exploring new podcasts.
