Erica is an adept tax strategist, offering dynamic tax planning and regulatory compliance solutions that allow clients to adapt to fluctuating tax landscapes while reducing their tax obligations. Specializing in a broad range of tax categories, her expertise covers income and partnership tax planning and preparation, international tax planning, and other state and local levies. She is proficient in tax minimization strategies and adept at advising on tax credits and additional incentives.
Serving a diverse clientele that includes private enterprises, individuals, and family offices, Erica offers annual tax assessments alongside the implementation of robust asset protection measures and wealth transfer plans. Furthermore, she assists in navigating complex inheritance planning procedures.
Her comprehensive expertise extends to mitigating the effects of gift, estate, and generation-skipping taxes. Leveraging sophisticated strategies like Family Limited Partnerships (FLPs), Limited Liability Companies (LLCs), Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts (GRATs), and other trust structures, Erica strives to safeguard assets, facilitate business succession, and ensure clients’ wealth preservation and transfer directives are legally secured.
Prior to joining AAFCPAs, Erica gained public accounting experience at regional and national public accounting firms. When not solving tax challenges, Erica may be found cheering her daughters on in swim meets, and serving as an official, helping run consistent, high-quality and technically-correct competitions.
