Jack provided assurance, tax, and business advisory solutions for a variety of closely held businesses and sophisticated nonprofit organizations.
Jack’s broad commercial industry experience included manufacturing, distribution, high tech and software, green tech and clean tech, life sciences, construction, and physicians. He specialized in business exit strategy planning for owners of private companies, offering guidance on exit options, developing optimal exit strategy plans, analyzing tax implications and costs, conducting due diligence, advising on transaction structures, designing employee compensation programs, and supporting post-transaction integration.
Jack’s nonprofit client experience encompassed multiservice, human and social services providers, community health centers, associations, and foundations. He understood the complexities of nonprofit operations and provided guidance on government auditing standards, funding source compliance, tax credit programs, endowment and reserve fund best practices, cost allocation methodologies, achieving internal control objectives, and optimizing the finance function. Jack also oversaw many of AAFCPAs’ employee benefit plan audits.
Jack served AAFCPAs’ clients from 1981 until his retirement in 2024, leaving a legacy of trusted service and expertise.
