Manager
Kevin is a member of AAFCPAs’ specialized Employee Benefit Plan Audit & Consulting Practice with expertise in the Department of Labor’s stringent rules and regulations for reporting and disclosure under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA). Kevin ensures the assurance process is efficient, minimally disruptive, and provides valuable learnings to improve operations and reduce risks. He proactively communicates with the plan sponsor, custodians, and any third-party administrators to allow for adequate notice to aggregate requested documents, and he collaborates as appropriate with AAFCPAs’ audit and tax teams to ensure there are no duplications of requests. He provides close monitoring of status and completion and ensures that client expectations are met, and deliverables are provided on their agreed upon dates and meeting filing deadlines.
Kevin is currently earning his CPA credential and successfully passed all four parts of the CPA exam. He is also a performance manager, providing new accountants at the firm with leadership and coaching as they travel along their professional journey. He proactively helps with goal setting and provides continuous feedback.
