Michelle in a leader in AAFCPAs’ Tax Practice with expertise advising clients on a full spectrum of business tax services, including planning, research, and compliance. She advises privately held domestic and foreign-owned corporations in a variety of industries, including Software, Biotechnology, Medical Device, Life Science, Manufacturing, Retail, and Professional Service.
Michelle understands the unique tax structure and complexities of corporate taxation. She specializes in planning to minimize state, local, and international tax liabilities, ensuring compliance with all tax obligations, providing representation during audits or inquiries from tax authorities, and providing guidance on the tax implications of business transactions. Additionally, she provides guidance on accounting for income taxes and assisting in identifying and claiming various tax credits and incentives, ensuring corporations navigate the complexities of their taxation effectively.
Clients, especially those without a finance background, appreciate Michelle’s ability to communicate complex technical issues in a non-technical manner. This understanding adds confidence to clients’ decision making and risk taking.
Prior to joining AAFCPAs in 2018, Michelle gained additional experience in regional and national public accounting.
