Sarah Masison

Sarah is a senior member of AAFCPAs Outsourced Accounting & Fractional CFO practice, providing custom outsourced accounting solutions as well as project leadership and financial and operational resource augmentation for privately-held companies.

Sarah provides oversight of clients’ accounting & reporting functions, including managing the preparation of financial statements, cash-flow reports, day-to-day record keeping and reporting, including all payroll, accounts payable and receivable. She ensures clients are in compliance with regulations and in good financial health.

As needed, Sarah provides specialized resource enhancements for annual or one-off projects such as: budgeting analysis & development; audit preparation; implementation of new accounting standards; and assistance with complex transactions, such as converting from cash basis of accounting to accrual basis.

Sarah joined AAFCPAs in 2016 in the firm’s Assurance division. She has extensive experience planning and executing financial statement audits for diverse commercial businesses, which gives her a solid foundation in best practices for financial statement presentation and internal control procedures.

Sarah builds strong relationships with AAFCPAs’ clients as a result of her technical knowledge, aptitude for analysis, and exceptional skills related to time management, communication and diplomacy.
