Shannon (Triebwasser) Veilleux, CPA

Outsourced Accounting & Fractional CFO (OAFC) practice, where she provides accounting infrastructure set-up, budget development, and oversight of transactional accounting services for commercial clients primarily in the distribution, life sciences, and Technology/SaaS sectors.

In this role, Shannon oversees client onboarding, providing high-level expertise and alleviating the burden of routine transactional activities. She works with new clients to right-size people, processes, and systems, helping to modernize their finance function in a manner that can adapt to changing needs. Shannon supervises junior staff in day-to-day transactional accounting including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and monthly general ledger reconciliations to ensure accurate and efficient processing. She provides insightful monthly or quarterly financial packages featuring actionable data to empower decision-making. Shannon’s budgeting and cash flow projections, budget-to-actual comparisons, and established financial controls help clients effectively manage performance and risks while improving stability.

Shannon holds certifications in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Bill.com to deliver effective, cloud-based solutions that support clients’ evolving needs. She combines her technical expertise with practical guidance, ensuring accurate management of the recording, monitoring, and organization of your financial transactions.

In addition to her client work, Shannon holds an active leadership role in AAFCPAs’ Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Council, where she recommends initiatives that support the firm’s commitment to a more inclusive workplace. She also serves as a Professional Advancement & Development (PAD) program Navigator, an individual and small group coach to help early career professionals elevate their career management skills, including communication, organization, teamwork, and independence.

Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance from Radford University. She currently resides in New Hampshire, where she spends her free time training her Golden Retriever, Frasier, toward certifications in obedience and agility.
