Traci Grady, EA
Manager
Traci has extensive experience providing audit, tax, and advisory solutions to sophisticated nonprofit organizations, including private schools, education & youth services, early education and care, foundations & grant making institutions. She specializes in directing teams in performing financial statement audits in accordance with Uniform Guidance/Single Audit and Government Auditing Standards, as well as those with state filing requirements, such as the Massachusetts Uniform Financial Statement (UFR).
Traci advises clients on achieving regulatory compliance and establishing best practice internal controls over financial reporting. She also advises clients embarking on capital campaigns to ensure the “ask” in marketing collateral and the accounting treatment coincide with management’s desire. She provides guidance on accounting for endowments, including developing and evaluating investment and spending policies, designing reporting structures, and evaluating and improving internal controls over investment activities. She provides proactive guidance to foundation and grant-making clients as they plan for, minimize, and monitor excise taxes and unrelated business income tax (UBIT).
Traci also has extensive experience providing tax planning & compliance solutions to small and emerging businesses. She is an Enrolled Agent (EA) and has experience representing taxpayers before the IRS in regard to collections, audits, and appeals.
