Understanding DMF Certification: Process, Timeline, and Key Decisions
When DMF certification becomes a necessity, understanding how controls, documentation, and attestation come together is key to meeting NTIS requirements.
Yash is a member of AAFCPAs’ Technology & Process Advisory, responsible for providing data analytics, information risk management, cybersecurity, and special IT attestations.
Yash is responsible for planning and executing special attestations on standards and statutes including System and Organization Controls (SOC) report attestations and evaluations along with attestations that comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and Section 404 compliance. She also assists AAFCPAs’ IT Security Specialists and Certified Ethical Hacker in the performance of IT General Controls (ITGCs) assessments, which result in suggestions for system security, data privacy, or system integrations that enhance efficiency. Beyond this, Yash manages the CaseWare IDEA Software process, which helps identify business trends and intelligence.
Yash has essential data analytics skills, including: PowerBI, Structured Query Language (SQL), SAS Enterprise Guide, Tableau, Amazon Web Services (AWS), advanced Excel, critical thinking, statistical programming, data visualization, machine learning, and data presentation. She leverages this knowledge and hands-on experience working collaboratively with AAFCPAs’ clients to devise unique and custom solutions that ensure data presents a clear path to drive business value.
Yash earned a dual master’s degree from Suffolk University Sawyer Business School in Business Analytics and Business Administration in 2022. She concentrated her studies on Business Intelligence. Yash is passionate about continuous learning and is dedicated to serving as the best technical and business resource for AAFCPAs’ clients.
