The partners of Alexander, Aronson, Finning & Co., P.C., are pleased to announce the appointment of Sorie M. Kaba, CPA, to Vice President. Sorie’s commitment to excellence and drive to succeed is unlike most you’ll ever meet.
In 1997, Sorie immigrated to the USA from Liberia, a country devastated by a civil war, in pursuit of furthering his education and to recover from the impact of the war. As the first to graduate college in his family, he thrived at Salem State College where he graduated with honors, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.
Sorie has extensive experience providing audit and tax services to a variety of commercial businesses including partnerships and limited liability companies. He is also experienced with audits of nonprofit organizations and audits in accordance with Government Auditing Standards and OMB Circular A-133. Sorie serves a variety of industries including real estate corporations, community health centers, community development corporations and their development projects with HUD, MHFA and low income tax credit requirement, CDFI entities and human services organizations.
