Alexander Aronson Finning CPAs is very proud to announce Carla McCall, CPA, has been recognized as a recipient of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants’ (MSCPA) Women to Watch award. This prestigious award is reserved for women who have made significant contributions to the accounting profession, their organizations, their community, and to the development of women leaders. In addition to co-managing the premier CPA firm in New England, Carla has spearheaded AAF’s Women’s Opportunity Network, dedicated to giving emerging women leaders the opportunities to advance.
Carla is a member of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s Women’s Network Advisory Board and The Jordan Matthew Porco Memorial Foundation Board. Carla is a Board Member of TechSandbox, dedicated to accelerating the success of science and technology entrepreneurs in Massachusetts. She is currently Vice Chair of Finance for the MSCPA Board, and in 2012, Carla was voted on to the Board of the Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE). She is currently an Audit/Finance Committee member of Strong Women, Strong Girls, Inc., a non-profit in Boston that helps young girls become strong women through an innovative mentoring process.
Carla was profiled in the “Women Up” section of the August 19th edition of the Boston Business Journal. Carla was nominated in the experienced leader category and Co-Managing Partner, Dave McManus had this to say, “Empowering women to advance in public accounting and in fullness of life has been a longtime passion and goal of Carla’s, and I could not imagine a more deserving recipient of this award.”
