About Habitat for Humanity-Metro West / Greater Worcester
HFH MWGW was founded in 1985 by local activists who identified the need for affordable housing opportunities in the Greater Worcester area and were committed to engaging groups of community stakeholders in solving the affordable housing problem. Their homes are built from the ground up primarily using volunteer labor and donations from the community. These homes are then sold to hard working families who are living between 30 and 60% of the area median income.
