AAFCPAs has launched a new internal advisory group designed to bring forward ideas and perspectives from the next generation of insight-driven CPA and advisory professionals. Called the Early Professional Insights Committee (EPIC), the group gives a voice to team members at the staff through senior levels, empowering them to examine processes, recommend improvements, and contribute directly to strategic decisions.
EPIC meets quarterly and represents a cross-section of departments and disciplines within the firm. Members serve on a volunteer basis and are guided by an executive coach to support professional growth in executive communication, leadership, and presentation skills. Periodically, EPIC will present formal recommendations to the firm’s Executive Board.
“This initiative reflects our continued investment in developing strong leaders and staying connected to the ideas that drive better business,” said Carla McCall, CPA, CGMA, Managing Partner. “We want to hear directly from the people doing the work, and we want them to know their voice matters.”

The committee is part of a larger effort to stay agile as we grow. By creating intentional channels for dialogue, AAFCPAs aims to build even stronger internal systems, improve collaboration, and continue to deliver high-quality, consistent results to clients.
The inaugural EPIC committee includes 11 team members across audit, tax, business and IT consulting, and outsourced accounting.
We look forward to sharing how their work supports both continuous improvement within our firm and better outcomes for those we serve.
