AAFCPAs would like to share that Michael Pruell, CPA, a long-standing leader in the firm’s Healthcare and Community & Economic Development practices, has made the decision to pursue new professional opportunities outside of the firm. After many years of dedicated service, Mike has chosen to explore a new direction aligned with his evolving goals and aspirations. He has accepted the role of chief financial officer at a prominent community development corporation in Virginia. At AAFCPAs, we believe that everyone should find the work that gives them meaning. So we are fully supportive of Mike, and he will always remain a friend of the firm and the broader AAFCPAs family.
Mike has played a key role in advancing the firm’s work with community health centers, behavioral health providers, and organizations focused on affordable housing and economic development. Clients have long valued his insight, responsiveness, and deep understanding of their missions. His technical knowledge and thoughtful leadership have had a lasting influence on both clients and colleagues. We are grateful for the dedication and care he brought to every engagement.
