From August 2–8, 2026, communities across the country will celebrate National Health Center Week and the vital role Community Health Centers (CHCs) play in the health and well-being of millions of individuals and families.
Over the years, we have had the privilege of working alongside Community Health Centers and seeing firsthand the difference they make in the communities they serve. Whether providing primary care, dental services, behavioral health support, or programs that address social needs, health centers work to ensure quality care is accessible to people of all backgrounds and circumstances.
Through their role as trusted community partners, CHCs help individuals and families navigate challenges, access resources, and build healthier futures. They respond to evolving community needs while remaining focused on a simple but powerful mission: delivering care with dignity, compassion, and respect.
National Health Center Week provides an opportunity to celebrate the dedicated professionals, leaders, board members, and support teams who make this work possible. Their commitment strengthens neighborhoods, improves health outcomes, and creates lasting benefits for the communities they serve.
AAFCPAs is proud to support Community Health Centers and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) as they navigate an increasingly complex operating environment. For more than 50 years, we have partnered with organizations across the healthcare sector, providing audit, tax, advisory, outsourced accounting, and operational consulting services that help centers remain financially strong and focused on their mission.
As we recognize National Health Center Week, we extend our sincere appreciation to the organizations and individuals whose work expands access to care and improves lives every day. Thank you for the positive impact you make throughout communities across the nation.
