Stuart Karas

Stuart helps organizations improve operational efficiency, gain access to reliable data and reporting, and align technology investments with business objectives. As a member of AAFCPAs’ Technology & Process Advisory practice, he specializes in business process improvement, systems optimization, and technology initiatives that support informed decision-making and sustainable growth.

Stuart helps clients evaluate business processes, select and implement ERP and finance systems, improve reporting capabilities, and identify operational improvement opportunities. Drawing on a strong accounting and finance background, including prior consulting experience supporting organizations through staff turnover, compliance challenges, system implementations, and other periods of organizational change, he helps clients evaluate alternatives, improve workflows, and maximize the value of their technology investments. He has led numerous process improvement, system selection, and implementation projects, helping clients balance organizational requirements, resources, budgets, and long-term objectives.

Stuart holds professional certifications in Oracle NetSuite and Sage Intacct and maintains working knowledge across a wide range of finance, HR, FP&A, and related business applications. He helps organizations identify technology solutions that align with operational needs, available resources, and long-term growth objectives. Stuart also provides specialized attestation and risk advisory services, including system and organization controls (SOC) engagements, helping clients strengthen internal controls, security practices, and overall process effectiveness.
