Throughout November, AAFCPAs will match team members’ charitable gifts dollar for dollar, extending support for causes they care about as we lead up to GivingTuesday on December 1.
Our Giving Tree brings AAFCPAs’ GivingTuesday campaign to life. Each contribution from a team member adds a new leaf, allowing us to watch the tree grow as giving takes place across the firm.
GivingTuesday celebrates something we have the privilege of witnessing throughout the year: people giving their time, resources, and expertise to organizations and causes that matter to them. We see it within our own firm and in the dedicated people behind nonprofit organizations who work every day to strengthen the communities we share.
From November 1 through GivingTuesday on December 1, AAFCPAs is once again matching team members’ charitable gifts dollar for dollar through the AAFCPAs Charitable Foundation, doubling the 50 percent match we provide throughout the year. Each person may choose where to give, allowing additional support to reach an organization or cause that is most meaningful to them.
Supporting nonprofits has been part of AAFCPAs since our founding. Through our 10% Back to Nonprofits program, we dedicate 10 percent of net income each year to nonprofit organizations. That commitment extends beyond financial contributions through volunteer service, nonprofit board leadership, and donation drives.
As a Certified B Corporation™, AAFCPAs is part of a global community of businesses working to create positive impact through the way they operate. For us, that responsibility is reflected in longstanding commitments like 10% Back and in the many ways people across our firm choose to contribute their time, talents, and resources.
“At its best, business creates value that reaches far beyond the business itself,” said Carla McCall, CPA, CGMA, Managing Partner at AAFCPAs. “GivingTuesday gives our team the opportunity to direct that value toward organizations they believe in, and we’re proud to help extend the impact of their generosity.”
We’re grateful to the nonprofit organizations whose work strengthens our communities and to everyone across AAFCPAs who choose to support them. GivingTuesday gives us another opportunity to take part in that shared spirit of generosity and help direct more resources toward work that matters.
