AAF Welcomes Richard L. Weiner to manage tax services department
The partners of Alexander, Aronson, Finning & Co., P.C., are pleased to announce the addition of Richard L. Weiner, CPA, as a Vice President of the firm. As part of his role, Rich will be managing AAF’s tax practice and working to provide excellent client service.
Rich joins the firm with over 25 years of broad tax experience, with a specialty in tax planning and consulting for private and publicly-held businesses.
Rich has specific expertise in the Software, Bio-Technology, Medical Device, Life Science, Manufacturing, Retail, Professional Service and Publishing industries, as well as U.S. aspects of international taxation. He works extensively with European companies expanding into the U.S. market.
Additional areas of his focus include companies and stockholders in transition, including structuring of and planning for Mergers & Acquisitions, planning for changes in ownership and management, and adoption of tax methodologies with a view to the long term. He is well known in his field and is a frequent speaker on a variety of tax related topics.
Rich is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Massachusetts Society of Public Accountants (MSCPA) and a Past Board Member of Temple Beth Torah in Holliston. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Boston University and his Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley College.
