AAFCPAs Matt Hutt and Courtney McFarland, in collaboration with the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers, will again present a Medicare and Medicaid Cost Report Training on October 6th, 2016, 9:00am-1:00pm at the DoubleTree Conference Center, Westborough, MA.
Matt and Courtney will provide guidance and best practices in implementing the significant changes made to Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Medicare Cost Reports. FQHCs with fiscal year ends beginning after September 30th, 2014 must pay particular attention to cost report changes affecting: revenue statistics, determination of full-time equivalent employees (FTE), expenses and visits, settlement amounts, and the calculation of allowable costs. Matt and Courtney will clarify these changes, and provide a detailed walkthrough of each schedule in the cost report. In addition, we will share best practices for the preparation of the Community Health Center (Medicaid) Cost report.
This event is presented exclusively for MassLeague members.
The Mass League’s CFO Roundtable will follow the training, beginning at 1:00pm. Visit massleague.org to learn more.
