Nick is a dynamic controller in residence at AAFCPAs Outsourced Accounting & Fractional CFO practice, providing complete outsourced accounting & finance services for privately-held companies. He provides knowledgeable financial leadership and accounting oversight, including infrastructure set-up, and establishes and executes internal controls over clients’ accounting and financial procedures. One of Nick’s specialties is serving the Cannabis industry, where his cost accounting expertise is coveted. He confidently ensures that AAFCPAs’ clients remain in compliance with strict state and federal regulations.
Nick makes sure that all accounting allocations are appropriately made and documented. He performs cash management functions and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash disbursements, payroll, and bank reconciliation functions. He pursues timely collection on invoices, providing clients with cash flow that can be diverted into crucial business functions. He coordinates with tax accountants and auditors, and keeps records organized and readily available for examination. Nick oversees banking and finance activities, and reviews all financial contracts and financing agreements.
Nick provides accurate and comprehensive financial information to executive management to support long-term financial strategy. He prepares financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, budgets, budget-to-actuals, and financial projections. Additionally, Nick provides financial guidance on complex technical accounting issues, such as implementation of new accounting standards; and audit preparation. Nick’s financial analysis skills are instrumental in helping clients to assess risk, analyze efficiency, and inform policy decisions made by executive management.
