Wendy is an integral member of AAFCPAs’ Technology & Process Advisory team, specializing in delivering advanced business intelligence and enhancing productivity through strategic process and IT solutions. This includes business process assessments and automation, software selections and implementations, data visualization, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
Prior to joining AAFCPAs, Wendy gained chief-executive-level experience leading the finance functions for Community Resources for Justice (CRJ), Turning Point, Inc., Bennet & Company, as well as Sylvania Lighting Solutions and Traxon Technologies. Her upwardly mobile career spanning global public corporations through privately held for-profit and non-profit organizations instilled the broad perspective necessary to revamp and redesign operations in the leanest and most efficient manner possible.
Wendy brings to each engagement insight, innovation, and an open and collaborative communication style. She offers the ideal blend of financial acumen as it relates to business process management and redesign, solutions development and implementation, functional integration, systems enhancement, process design, and controls.
Wendy takes a deep dive to assess and analyze her client’s environment and objectives, presenting options for improvement, orchestrating implementation, and training and orienting staff. She counsels on policy and standards design, core processes, and internal controls with the goal of refining procedures, minimizing risk, and growing operations. With years of experience as CFO, she has the ability to see the big picture as it relates to the finance function as well as enterprise wide.
Wendy is a NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant and holds a Master of Science in finance from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in business from the University of Delaware. Away from the office, she loves to find new adventures in her Sprinter camper van with her husband and boys.
