Lindsay Stevenson, Partner, Strategy & Operations, helps ensure the firm’s strategic priorities are carried through in practice to better support clients. Working across service areas, she aligns decisions related to operations, systems, and technology to strengthen how the firm delivers insight, coordination, and long-term value.
Lindsay works closely with partners and team leaders to strengthen how strategic priorities are carried through in practice, with a focus on digital transformation and firmwide alignment. Operating across service areas, she focuses on the ways in which priorities are set, teams operate, and decisions are made—ensuring investments in operations, systems, and technology are intentional, integrated, and aligned with the firm’s long-term direction.
As AAFCPAs continues to expand its advisory capabilities, Lindsay plays a key role in strengthening how those solutions are developed and delivered firmwide. By connecting priorities across practice areas, she helps ensure clients benefit from a more integrated approach—where tax, assurance, advisory, and technology considerations are evaluated together in alignment with their broader organizational goals.
Lindsay brings more than 20 years of experience working with executive leadership and boards across professional services and financial institutions. She has led enterprise strategy and transformation initiatives with a focus on execution and operational scaling while building capabilities that support sustained performance. Throughout her extensive career, Lindsay has guided organizations through complex decisions around growth, technology investment, and organizational alignment.
Lindsay currently serves as AICPA Vice Chair and as a member of the Association’s Board, contributing to the future direction of the accounting industry. She was named one of the 25 Most Powerful Women in Accounting by the AICPA and CPA Practice Advisor (2018, 2019, 2020, 2023, 2024) and is a recipient of both the AICPA’s Outstanding Young CPA of the Year award as well as the South Dakota Society of CPAs’ Outstanding Young Professional Award. Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Gonzaga University’s School of Business Administration. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
